It seems to finally be getting hot

So it seems as if it is finally turning summer here (what we Atlantans consider summer!). With summer has come a lot of ticks. Two people with Georgia State have already contracted lime disease from tick bites. Yesterday we saw lots of them in the area we are currently working in.

The area we are mapping is an area called Badger Pass. If you would like to check out the areas we are working in check out http://geospatial.gsu.edu/fieldcamp/gsu_fieldcamp_v01.kmz in Google Earth. The Badger Pass area is characterized by a lot of complex thrust faulting.

Hopefully we are going to tacobus for dinner tonight and we have lots of work todo on our maps.

  1. If the geologist thing doesn't work out, maybe you could bring the Tacobus concept to Hotlanta?
